Fun With Animals

Lion Country Safari Changing Hands | Daily Business Review
Hey peeps!
Today I’m going to tell you about my amazing experience at Lion Country Safari! My cousins Tani and Sid stayed at our house for two weeks, and we decided that we wanted to go to Lion Country Safari.
Tani, Sid, and I hopped into the car and my uncle drove off. (We got to watch movies on the way!) Once we were there, we turned off the screen and waited for our tickets.

A lady with a mask said that we had to buy our tickets online. Uh oh. So my uncle called my older sister and asked her to buy tickets online for three kids and two adults. She did and the lady let us go. However, before she could buy them, my aunt did.

I wanted to go inside, and not the drive-thru safari, but the rules were that we couldn’t go inside. We started the drive-thru safari.

And then we went into the ostrich habitat. Wow! We were looking at the biggest birds in the world! There were a lot of them, and some were blocking our path. Others were running around. Ostriches are the fastest birds on land. Tani and I were hungry, so we began eating crackers. The ostriches noticed them and pecked at the car windows.

My uncle told us not to feed them. I had my camera out and snapped tons of photos of them. We saw tons of cool animals, and there were realistic habitats.  (and finished the whole packet of crackers,) As we entered the lions’ space, something caught my eye.

A poster! It said that there were two new baby lions. Their names were Atlas and Mara, and they were so cute! And then I saw the best thing ever! Lions! One lazy lion was sleeping, while the lioness was awake. I snapped lots of photos of them! In movies, they look fierce and deadly, but in real life they just sleep for 20 hours.

Then there was another poster for two new cute baby rhinos! Sadly, I forgot their names. Then I saw the cutest thing ever! Tons of baby deer were grazing. One came close, and I recorded it. We passed more cool animals, and lots of ostriches.

We stopped at the giraffes. Tani, Sid, and I began laughing. A giraffe was bending down and doing yoga. It was so fun to see the tallest animal doing yoga. Well, giraffes need to get their exercise too!

My experience at Lion Country Safari was amazing! The weather was perfect, and the animals were so fun to look at! It’s the best place to maintain social distancing and have fun!

Dill-ightful Armadillo Sighting

H ey peeps! Today I’m going to tell you about a dill-ightful armadillo sighting. Mom woke me up at 6:AM (so early!) to go walking. I pulled the blanket over my head and she pulled it right off. I groaned and put on my sneakers.
