Hey
peeps!
Today
I’m going to tell you about our online shopping fail!
To go shopping, you don’t need to get ready and hop in the car. An easier option is shopping online, in the comfort of your home! Right? Especially now, due to COVID-19, online shopping is the best option for everybody.
Mom told me that I needed new clothes, so we logged on to the JC Penney online site and looked for girl’s clothes. There was a new 4th of July sale. We didn’t buy school uniforms because we didn’t know if school would reopen next year.We
looked carefully at all the choices. Since there was a sale, a lot of the items
were already sold out by the time we checked. I told her that I liked a pink
shirt with a white unicorn dinosaur on it. She ordered it one size bigger because
we might not be able to shop next year. We also got a cute white long-sleeved
shirt with neon leopard prints on it. She ordered that one size bigger too. In
total, we ordered eight super cute shirts!
She
tried on a red dress with white and green zigzags. I teased her that it was an
ugly Christmas dress. She put it on, and she looked like a flight attendant! I wanted
to dump peanuts in her hand.
Two days later, my shirts came! I was so excited to try them on. First, I put on the dinosaur/unicorn shirt. There was one big problem. It was way too big for me! It reached my legs and it looked like a dress and not a shirt. Then, I tried on my leopard print top, but it was so large that two of me could fit inside it! The sleeves were so long you couldn’t even see my fingers.
I went upstairs and told my sister about the size
mishap. She came downstairs to see, and do you know what we saw? Mom was
wearing one of my shirts! We all laughed
loudly. These shirts could fit Mom, let alone me!
Well, I hope you have better luck online shopping than I did!
